It also strengthened care for the surroundings, companionship and community life.<\/p><p>The route, approximately <strong>20 kilometres<\/strong> long, passed through a typically Galician landscape of eucalyptus and pine forests, and through Lavacolla, where participants stopped to cool off beside a stream.<\/p><p>Along the way, the group shared an experience marked by collaboration and mutual support, in surroundings where the greeting <strong>\u201cBuen Camino\u201d<\/strong> accompanied much of the day.<\/p><p>After negotiating various stretches and slopes, participants reached Monte do Gozo, from where they could see the towers of Santiago Cathedral.
