Eva Luque<\/strong>, Managing Director of Hestia<\/a>, played a prominent role in the panel discussion organised by Sodexo<\/a>, which addressed the challenges of preventing and reducing food waste.<\/p>\n

Last week, Hestia<\/a> had the privilege of taking part in Sodexo’s panel discussion, joining a select group of experts and professionals to explore progress in preventing and reducing food waste throughout the value chain. Entitled \u201cObjective: Save Food. Challenges in Tackling Waste\u201d<\/strong>, the first panel, moderated by Nuria de Pedraza Barbero, Director of Communications and Institutional Relations at AECOC<\/strong>, brought together leading figures in the field, including Alfredo Vara, Head of the Prevention and Resource Efficiency Department at the Ag\u00e8ncia de Residus de Catalunya; M\u00f3nica S\u00e1nchez, HSE Manager at Boehringer Ingelheim; and Daniel Lois Cerezo, Director of CSR and Sustainability at Sodexo<\/strong>. Together with Eva Luque from Grupo Hestia<\/strong>, they explored the challenges and opportunities in this vital area.<\/p>\n

In another highlight of the event, Lorena Redonda, Director of Communications at Sodexo<\/strong>, introduced the panel \u201cSuccess Stories in the Food Value Chain\u201d<\/strong>, which showcased inspiring projects and initiatives led by Albert Moreno, Key Account Manager at es im-perfect, part of Fundaci\u00f3 Espigoladors<\/strong>; Jes\u00fas Peinado, CEO of Gem\u00fcsering Iberia; and Carolina Bonafonte, Project Director at Fundaci\u00f3n \u00c1urea<\/strong>. These examples highlighted both a strong environmental commitment and a social, human approach to tackling waste.<\/p>\n
