Intermediate care
Long-stay Unit
An intermediate care inpatient unit with a multidisciplinary approach and ongoing care, intended for people with chronic diseases or conditions, clinical complexity and/or functional dependency resulting from acute episodes, who cannot be cared for at home.

- Preventive treatments to avoid complications
- Support for long-standing conditions, such as dementia, chronic cognitive disorders and HIV
