As part of our commitment to providing comprehensive, approachable and meaningful care, the High Dependency Unit (ADP) team at Hestia Health Duran i Reynals took part in a cultural activity at the Palau de la Música in Barcelona.
Attendees enjoyed the performance “Music of the World—A Journey Through the Voice”. The show offered a musical journey through different cultures around the world using the human voice, introducing a range of musical traditions and highlighting music as a means of inclusion, expression and connection between people.
This experience had a positive impact on wellbeing, as music supports attention, stimulates emotional expression and promotes social interaction. Taking part in a cultural activity outside the care setting also creates shared experiences in a different context, strengthening motivation, active participation and a sense of belonging to the community.
At Hestia Health, we continue to support initiatives that bring together culture, leisure and care, with the aim of improving the quality of life of the people we support. We thank the professional team involved in this initiative and welcome the positive response it received from patients.
