Hestia Health took part as a guest company and careers guidance partner in an event organised by the Consorci d’Educació de Barcelona, held at the Institut Hospital del Mar FP Sanitària. The meeting formed part of the presentation of the Soc Be Pro project, an initiative designed to support young people through their education and entry into employment.
Representing Hestia Health, Esther Sardà, Rehabilitation Therapies Coordinator, contributed to the session under the theme “The Company as a Guidance Partner”. During her presentation, she discussed the role that organisations in health and social care can play as places of learning, support and guidance for students on placements, particularly at key stages in shaping their professional direction.
The event focused on educational and careers guidance, personalised support and collaboration between education and the workplace as essential elements in opening up opportunities and helping train professionals who are prepared to meet the sector’s current needs.
Participation in forums like this strengthens Hestia Health’s commitment to training, guidance and support for new generations, as well as collaboration between education and professional practice.
