On 9 July, an outing to San Juan Reservoir took place as part of Residencia Hestia Esquerdo’s Healthy Leisure programme.
The centre’s service users who took part enjoyed the area’s beautiful views and made the most of the opportunity to swim in the reservoir. It was a fun-filled day, with time for a picnic on the beach, refreshments together on a terrace overlooking the reservoir, and a game of cards—all together!
Contact with nature, spending time with fellow service users and professionals in peaceful surroundings, and sharing this experience of participation, enjoyment and community inclusion made the day a special memory for everyone.
