Hestia Health Coroleu took part in a new session of “Capacitats en Acció” (“Abilities in Action”), an initiative promoted by the Taula d’Entitats de Persones amb Discapacitat del Districte de Sant Andreu to raise awareness of disability through cinema.
The session brought together service users from Hestia Health Coroleu, students from IE Tramuntana and older people from Casal de Gent Gran Bascònia, creating a space for intergenerational discussion following the screening of the short film Intentando, starring Juan Manuel Montilla “El Langui”.
The centre’s service users attended with Ángela Rial and Marina Morante, Hestia Health Coroleu’s social worker and occupational therapist respectively. The centre’s social worker is also a member of the Taula d’Entitats’ Cinema and Disability Committee, contributing to the development of this inclusive initiative.
