We are pleased to announce Hestia Health Maresme‘s participation in the Territorial Pathway for Faster Diagnosis and Protection Against Elder Abuse in the AIS Nord area. This programme, promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, aims to speed up the detection of and response to elder abuse, ensuring older people’s protection and wellbeing.
The Social Work team at Hestia Health Maresme plays an essential role in this pathway, identifying cases of abuse and providing the support needed. Collaboration with other professionals and local organisations ensures a swift, effective response, improving older people’s safety.
This project reflects Hestia Health‘s commitment to the continuous improvement of integrated health and social care and to protecting the most vulnerable. We are proud to contribute to this initiative, which promotes a dignified and safe life for older people.
