To mark World Palliative Care Day, the fourth Short Story Competition was held by the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer and the Universitat de Lleida, with the aim of encouraging reflection and expression around support and care at the end of life.
In this context, Eva Caselles, a physiotherapist at Hestia Health Balaguer, was awarded third prize for her story ‘Darreres moixaines’. The story explores, from a sensitive and humane perspective, the experience of palliative care and the value of support in situations of particular vulnerability.
At Hestia Health, we would like to congratulate Eva Caselles on this recognition, which reflects her sensitivity and commitment. We celebrate this achievement and thank her for a contribution that helps highlight the importance of palliative care from an approachable and deeply human perspective.
