Hestia Health Gràcia hosted an intensive acrylic painting workshop dedicated to the sea, promoted by the Sociocultural Activities Department as a space for creativity, expression and wellbeing.
Over several sessions, patients in convalescent and long-stay care discovered acrylic painting and explored new forms of expression through colour. The activity encouraged concentration, stimulated creativity and allowed them to enjoy a shared experience in a calm, motivating setting.
Painter and sculptor Antoni Martín supported participants throughout the creative process, generously volunteering his time, knowledge and artistic sensitivity. At Hestia Health, we deeply appreciate his generosity and commitment.
Through initiatives like this, Hestia Health integrates culture into care and promotes activities that enrich patients’ experience. The workshop showed how artistic expression can become a tool for support, motivation and wellbeing within the care setting.
