At Hestia Health, we see social commitment as an essential part of the way we care. Promoting respect, equality and diversity helps create more humane, safe and welcoming environments, both for the people we care for and for the professional teams who support them every day.
To mark Pride Month, the equality committees at Hestia Health Duran i Reynals and Hestia Health Palau launched various awareness-raising activities at the centres. At Hestia Health Palau, a stand was set up to provide information and resources to professionals, patients and families. At Hestia Health Duran i Reynals, a talk and discussion involving some of our collaborators created a space for shared reflection on diversity, equal treatment and living together.
These initiatives reflect our professionals’ commitment to ethical care that is humane and approachable, where every person can feel recognised, respected and supported.
