Hestia Health Balaguer held a commemorative event to recognise the centre’s history, its development over three decades and the commitment of everyone who has helped establish it as a leading local care provider. The event brought together more than 80 people, including professionals, families and institutional representatives.
Those attending included Eva Luque, CEO of Hestia Health; Eli Villalba, Director of Hestia Health Balaguer; Maria Jesús Torrelles, Sector Director of the Regió Sanitària de Lleida; and Lorena González Dios, Mayor of Balaguer. In their speeches, they highlighted the centre’s importance within the care network of the Lleida counties and recognised the team’s commitment, professionalism and dedication.
During the event, a commemorative plaque was unveiled in honour of Dr Ferran Olivé Cánovas, founder of Hestia Alliance, as a symbolic tribute to the centre’s history and all the professionals who have been part of it. The event also looked back at the most significant moments in its history, highlighting its growth, adaptation to new models of care and development into a project deeply connected with the local area and its people.
The day ended with a toast and a celebratory breakfast in a warm, moving atmosphere, bringing to a close an event of shared recognition among professionals, families and institutions.
