Hestia Health La Robleda organised a healthy walk from the centre to Santiago de Compostela, following the final stage of the French Way of the Camino de Santiago.
The activity aimed to encourage healthy lifestyle habits, promote physical activity and support contact with the natural environment. It also strengthened care for the surroundings, companionship and community life.
The route, approximately 20 kilometres long, passed through a typically Galician landscape of eucalyptus and pine forests, and through Lavacolla, where participants stopped to cool off beside a stream.
Along the way, the group shared an experience marked by collaboration and mutual support, in surroundings where the greeting “Buen Camino” accompanied much of the day.
After negotiating various stretches and slopes, participants reached Monte do Gozo, from where they could see the towers of Santiago Cathedral. The activity ended with their arrival in Plaza del Obradoiro, completing the planned route.
Through this initiative, Hestia Health La Robleda reinforces its commitment to promoting healthy habits, wellbeing and participation in activities that support physical health, togetherness and shared leisure time.
