On Friday 10 October 2025, several Hestia Health professionals attended the 11th Conference on Physiotherapy in Geriatrics, held at Hospital de Sant Pau in Barcelona. This conference is a benchmark in clinical care and science, providing a key forum for updating physiotherapy approaches to ageing.
Hestia Health Balaguer physiotherapist Eva Caselles took part as a speaker with a presentation entitled “Interdisciplinary Strategies for Pain Management in Older People”. During her presentation, she highlighted the importance of teamwork across disciplines in improving older people’s quality of life, particularly in cases of chronic pain or complex situations.
Also attending were Noemí Lucas, a physiotherapist at Hestia Health Maresme, and Esther Sardà, Rehabilitation Therapies Coordinator at Hestia Health, demonstrating the organisation’s commitment to ongoing training, innovation and excellence in care.
