Recently, a group of Hestia Health nursing professionals had the opportunity to visit HARTMANN Group’s production plant, a leading facility in the manufacture of adult incontinence products.
The visit brought together nursing teams and nursing care assistants (TCAIs) from Hestia Health Maresme, Hestia Health Palau, Hestia Health Balaguer, Hestia Health Duran i Reynals and Hestia Health Stauros, as well as the purchasing department, encouraging a shared perspective across care and management.
During the visit, professionals learned first-hand about the products’ manufacturing process, from raw materials to the finished product, and the quality controls applied. This strengthened their understanding of the materials used in care practice and their impact on patients’ safety, treatment effectiveness and comfort.
Initiatives like this allow the knowledge acquired to be applied to care practice, reinforcing ongoing training, collaboration between teams and continuous improvement in patient care.
